About Us 

Aberdeen Integrative Health, Chiroractic, & Acupuncture was established by Dr Derek Rekow, with the idea that the body works as a complete system.  Therefore, care must be focused on healing the body as a system.  This is done through an Integrative (combined) approach of different services: Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Nutrition & Functional Medicine, Applied Kinesiology, and more.  

Dr Derek received his undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University where he majored in Biology.  During this time Dr Derek worked at Brookings Chiropractic Center where he received continual knowledge and support for his career from some of the best Doctors in the state.  Once graduated from SDSU, Dr Derek pursued his Chiropractic Degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and continued to receive his certification in Acupuncture.  Dr Derek has continued his education beyond graduate school and has since continued to pursue his diplomate in Functional Medicine & Applied Kinesiology, as well as being certified in Nutrition.
